the pot
The Pot Steamboat another great place for steamboat. Serving the high quality steamboat ingridients, The Pot does not disappoint us with the delicious temptations of steamboat. Located in Kuchai Lama, the restaurant is simply packed during weekends dinner for steamboat and if you love to have your dining there, you may choose to make your booking to avoid disappointment.
the pot
The Pot Steamboat has a variety of live seafood that you can order for your hotpot. An assortment of clams, prawns, snakehead fish (sang yu), crabs and geoduck are available at reasonable prices.
the pot
Not just that, they are also serving some special sauce which is home made them selves too

the pot
We started off with their signature specialty here – The Sang Yu Pot (RM 18.80) where the wholesome brooth boiled with the ‘Sang Yu’ (snakehead fish), small crabs, wolfberries and some herbeal soup. The briith comes with the delicious flavours and have the blend of peppery taste in it as they had added with white and black pepper together.
the pot
– Slices of Sang Yu Fish-

With just add-on RM 15.00 only, you can have the Sang Yu Fish Slice, Fried beancurd, Vegetable, Egg and also Dong Fan together in the steamboat set. The set comes awesomely delicious. Everything comes fresh had made the delights double thumbs up.Dip the fresh ‘Sang Yu’ slices slices into the pipping hot brooth and “shabu shabu” them. Take out and you will enjoy the delicious bites of the sang yu slices. It is sinfully delicious where you can felt the sweetness of the fish in your mouth.

Home made fish balls
You can also order a variety of additional items – from seafood of scallops, mussels, abalone, sea asparagus, fish maw etc, to meat slices (lamb, beef, pork), meat balls, fish balls and even more.
the pot
We also have the Drunken Prawn where the fresh prawns are being soaked in the Chinese White Wine. It is then being poured into the steamboat soup. With this, you can felt the soup fragrance with complete with the wine based which makes the overall blend of soup so awesome. As for the prawns, they are indeed very fresh and each mouthful comes with the sweet temptations, Awesomely done!

Another highlights in The Pot Steamboat is the Geoduck where you just need to dipped into the fragant soup for the quick 2-3 seconds. The geoduck meat brings us with the bit of chewy and tender temptations. As for the geoduck’s gut ball, we expects that it will be discarded, but in The Pot they sliced them up and served you with a portion rice. In here, once you had completed your steamboat, pour the geoduck gutball in it together with the rice into the soup, and then stir them. Once it cooked, it is alike having porridge in risotto style.
the pot
Do give them a try for a different style of steamboat which we usually had.
