The Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur was voted the Best Hotel Experience in Malaysia by Expatriate Lifestyle in the Best of Malaysia Awards 2014.
The hotel also bagged Excellence Awards for Best Service at a Hotel/Resort, Best Mice Experience and Best Hotel Dining & Entertainment Experience (Lafite).
Allwyn Drego, hotel manager of the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, received the award recently from HE Victoria Treadell, British High Commissioner for Malaysia. Also present was Ian Johnston, Editor of Expatriate Lifestyle.
The Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur was cited in Expatriate Lifestyle as being a long-time favourite among the expatriate community here, as well as a much sought-after venue for society balls and other events.
It named Lafite as one of Kuala Lumpur’s very best restaurants, and Arthur’s Bar & Grill as the perfect place to relax with drinks and snack.
“But it’s the Shangri-La’s all-round quality that sees it voted as the Best Hotel Experience,” said the magazine.
