In conjunction with the Steinway & Sons’ Red D Tour coming to Malaysian shores for only 10 days, Shaftsbury Camerata, the only All-Steinway school in South East Asia had the honour of hosting the celebrated D-274 Concert Grand Red Piano for 2 days at iTech Tower Lobby, Shaftsbury Square.
Shipped in from the United States of America, and only featured in highly selected locations throughout Malaysia, this piano model is a thing of exquisite beauty and piano enthusiasts flock to have the opportunity to touch, feel and see it in real life.
To celebrate this occasion, Shaftsbury Camerata together with its music school operator, The Music Professionals Academy, hosted events on both days with a compelling string of musical performances as well as singing workshops with the Red D piano on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September for the public, as well as VIP guests.
The VIP guests who were in attendance for the VIP event held today included YM Tengku Hishammuddin Zaizi, Director at iKHASAS GROUP; Ir Tan Chee Kian, Group Chief Executive of iKHASAS GROUP; Mr Leng Tshua of Steinway & Sons USA; as well as many other corporation heads. Dressed in cocktail formal for a classical afternoon of musical indulgence, the event was a delightful success as they enjoyed professional musicians playing on prestigious instruments accompanying the featured Red D piano.
