BHMASIA SIGNS AWAY BEACH VILLAGE RESORT PRANBURI

October 2, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Asia-Pacific hotel management, development and consulting group, Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia (BHMAsia) announced that it has added management of Away Beach Village to the Away Resorts Collection. The 70-key property is located in Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, approximately a 3-hour drive south of Bangkok.

“Away Beach Village is our latest property under Away brand. We are now doing some upgrade work in the outdoor area and restaurant so that the property will be fully ready to welcome guests before the high season. The majority of guests here are Scandinavians as it is located near the peaceful beach giving the tropical feeling and within only a three hour drive from Bangkok.” said Mr. Frederic Garnier, BHMAsia’s Director of Operations and Development.

Formerly known as The Beach Village Resort, Away Beach Village offers the perfect blend of modern architecture set in the unspoiled tranquil coconut groves of Sam Roi Yot National Park, only 400 meters from the delightful beach at Dolphin Bay and 35 minutes drive from Hua Hin. The resort offers three types of accommodation; Studio, One Bedroom and Two Bedroom ground level apartments in spacious blocks of 7 and each block features a big swimming pool just 3 meters from your doorstep. The rooms include coffee/tea facilities, luxury bathrooms, air-conditioning units in all rooms and are complete with wireless internet and flat screen TV’s, most units also feature a delightful roof terrace with sunshade, sun chairs and sun beds. The central feature of the resort is a landscaped garden area complemented by the large bar and restaurant serving delicious Thai and Western style dishes. There is 24-hour security and a main office that will handle all aspects of guest comfort.

Originally founded by hotel entrepreneur Mr. Anthony McDonald the “Away Resorts & Villas” chain currently has total 10 properties in various destinations in Thailand and Cambodia. They include Koh Kood, Hua Hin-Pranburi, Chiang Mai, Chaing Rai – Phayao and Phnom Penh. Away properties are designed for the over worked and over stressed who just need to “Get Away” from their normal routine and enjoy a vacation in paradise at a slow tempo. They don’t need 24 hours room service, and they don’t need marble clad, gold plated bathrooms to achieve it. Away appeals to people who recognize they need to find a better balance, without forging some of life’s luxuries. Away is designed in a simple yet comfortable manner with a distinctive tropical paradise theme.
