“AUTUMN BERRIES CARNIVAL” AFTERNOON TEA BUFFET AT CAFÉ ALLEGRO OF REGAL KOWLOON HOTEL

October 15, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Because of their colourful outlooks, appetizing smell and high nutrition value, berries are extremely popular in making desserts. Incorporating strawberry, blueberry, cranberry and raspberry to the buffet dishes, Café Allegro of Regal Kowloon Hotel brings you the sensational “Autumn Berries Carnival” Afternoon Tea Buffet, awakening your taste buds with sweet and sour taste.

Best pick of cold dishes includes the Raspberry Avocado Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette, which is a light and healthy choice to whet your appetite. For main dish, try the Pan-fried Duck Breast with Raspberry Vinaigrette Sauce. The duck breast is pan-fried to release its supreme flavour. It pairs nicely with the Raspberry Vinaigrette to offer a delectable treat. Boiled Salmon with Strawberry Salsa is unique and tasty. Salmon fillet is slow-cooked to retain its freshness, moisture and tenderness. Complemented by the rich and sour salsa sauce made from fresh strawberries, onion and parsley, it provides you superb enjoyment.

Desserts play a prominent role in the buffet. Cassis Creme Brulee with Chocolate Cake is the award-winning masterpiece by Head Pastry Chef Sunny Lau, which received the Silver Medal in Practical (Professional) Category, Hong Kong International Culinary Classic at HOFEX. Its top layer is the smooth Blueberry Crème Brulee, followed by fresh raspberries and fluffy chocolate cake. The three-layer dessert gives triple sensations in one bite! Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Mousse Cake uses the light berries to neutralize the rich chocolate, an extremely pleasant selection. All-time favourites such as Mixed Berries Panna Cotta and Mixed Berries Tart will surely satisfy your sweet tooth too.

Apart from that, the buffet table also serves freshly-made popcorns and waffles, chocolate fountain with various attractive condiments at your own choice. Book now to sample the perfect afternoon tea buffet in town!

* Food items are served on a rotation basis and subject to seasonality

Offering a pleasant and relaxing dining environment with fresh, modern and contemporary decor, Café Allegro serves international seafood buffets and an à-la-carte menu featuring Vietnamese delights.
