THE SPREAD @ THE GARDENS HOTEL

September 2, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

the spread
A vibrant all day dining restaurant in The Gardens Hotel, The Spread brings you a showcase of a wide variety of local and continental specialities. Being that, The Spread comes with a variety of of local and continental specialities. With the theme of greenies, the restaurant brings us with the friendly and cosy environment when we entered.

The menu comes pretty impressive where they have a variety of choices to go for from starters, to sandwiches , mains and also desserts.
the spread
Starting our meals with some greenies, we had the Fresh Garden Mixed Salad (RM 22) where the salad is filled with healthy greenies bites with mesclun, capsicum, egg, tomato and cucumber woth the choice of dressings from the French dressing, thousand island, balsamic Viaigrette. Crispy fresh greenie vegetables to welcome the day.
the spread
Next we had the Aglio –Olio (RM 32) where it is being served with the sautéed prawns with garlic, parsley, chili flakes and also olive oil. Cooked al-dente; the aglio olio comes interestingly good and nice.
the spread
Other item which we had is the Canadian Cod (RM68). The Canadian cod is well done and it is well pan fried till perfection.Leaving a flaky texture of the cod fish itself; it is also being served with the sautéed vegetables, parseley potatoes and ginger shoyu sauce.
the spread
Not to be missed is also the Chicken Cordon Bleu (RM 35.00). The breaded chicken breast is well stuffed with the spinach, turkey ham and served together with the broccoli, mashed potato and also topped with the rich corn sauce. The creamy blend of the cordan bleu is so perfecto and each mouthful is just nice as it is.

Overall, it has a wide spread of ala-carte selection of ala carte delights which is not to be missed.
