BETJEMAN & BARTON @ 1 UTAMA

August 1, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Betjeman & Barton (B&B) had just opened not long ago. Located next to the Bespoke tailor shop and near the walkway towards One World Hotel; Betjeman & Barton is such a perfect place to go for; an afternoon tea or more. A luxurious setting with the beautiful red chairs is so comfort and it is so relaxing
B&B
More than a decade old company, Betjeman & Barton is a sign of excellence colored with originality of their teas. The two gentlemen with a vision had driven them to their conception of the English Art Tea. In Betjetman & Barton; you can find loads if tea where they have more than 100 choices of tea available. To name a few, they have the green, black, rooibos tea and more where they are being sourced from different part of the world which includes China, Japan, India, and more.

Depending on your personal preference, you can get the staff to recommend you the teas where they have several to choose for which include full bodied, light, smoked or scented depending of your tastebuds. The flavorful tea is so nice in its smell and each comes with different aroma.
B&B
The Pouchkine is Betjeman & Barton’s oldest and most popular tea. Recommended to us, the Russian tea – a Russian tea with bergamot from Calabria, citrus fruits and fruit peels. The tea is indeed very refreshing with the blend of the citrus fragrance that comes with it.
B&B
I am definitely a lucky girl today. Pampered with the delicious cakes with me- the chocolate mousse (RM14.90) and lemon cheesecake (RM12.90); I am so happy and could not wait for a bite of it. The chocolate mousse is sinfully good and each mouthful is so divine where the munch of it will brings you with the surprise crunchy center. Nice.
B&B
Next we had the lemon cheesecake (RM 12.90). The lemon cheesecake melts in the mouth with the zesty aroma of the cheesecake itself. The lemon zestiness combines with the rich cheesy blend had made it so super-licious. Nice one to go for.
B&B
The Tiramisu is another great selection of dessert to go for. Served with the Mascarpone Trifle, Savoryard, and Cream Sauce, the desserts is such a killer making me totally fall in love with it. The tiramisu is well served, melts in the mouth and the taste of fragrant tiramisu blend is so addictive.
B&B

Earl Grey gateau (RM 14.90) cake comes so fragrant with the blend of earl tea with it. The cake not just melts in the mouth but the fragrance of the earl tea remains with a light milky taste with it. It is such a great temptations and each mouthful of the earl tea cake comes indeed is our favorite.

B&B
Midori Green Tea (RM 12.90) is also one of our favorites too. The fragrant green tea is just so good for those green tea lover. You can get the taste of the fragrant green tea dancing around your mouth when you are indulging them. Nice one.

B&B
An ice cream lover? Try their French style ice cream comes in mini waffle baskets (RM15). The portion is just nice and what I love about it is where it is so colourful and the presentation comes so decent. The waffle baskets are fully imported while ice creams are made from the central kitchen. Flavours are pretty unique too and the ice cream texture is pretty smooth. With a different taste of the waffle basket where you can have beetroots and more; it not only promote on a healthier ice creams.
B&B
If you are looking for some chocolates, Betjeman & Barton have them too with the assorted chocolate pralines (RM3.50 for one, or RM42 per box of 12). There are so many choices to choose for from dark to milky choices. Some of my favorites include raspberry milk, dark praline, and truffle. The chocolate is simply good and it just melts in the mouth. Nice one.
B&B

B&B
The Macarons here were good (RM 24 for 6 pieces) where all of it are being prepared by their pastry chef. With many flavours to choose for like black sesame, hazelnut, dark chocolate, vanilla , and more. I love the raspberry flavours and we had back there for more macarons and this is one of Little Grace favorite. The texture is moist and not too sweet. It is just as nice as it is.
