This time around when we are back to Penang; we try our best venturing more Penang delicacies and this round we head for Yik Kheng Kee coffeeshop along Kimberly Street in the town itself. The owners who are Hainanese serve a unique humble stir fried noodles for over a decade.
Well, we had ordred a wat tan hoe which comes real good. The hor fan and the bihun with some ingridients like pork, slices of fish cakes and also prawns being stirfried together. Then it is being drenched with the wholesome portion of egg gravy which makes the overall delights so flavourful as it is. The delights bring us with the great aroma and wok hei. The noodle is delicious with pickled green chilies.
Another will be the Penang style of Hokkien Mee which is by the named of Hokkien Char. Well stir fried noodles with all the condiments with it. Filled with wok hei; the Hokkien Char is indeeda addictive and a nice one.
Why not ends your meal with the famous Penang Black Coffee. A drink which is recommended to enjoy when you are in Penang.
