A NOSTALGIC RAMADAN AT ES.SENCE, HOLIDAY INN MELAKA

This Ramadan, Holiday Inn Melaka is serving myriad of delectable local favourites in conjunction with the month-long fasting period.

Taking place in es.sense kitchen, the ‘Ala Kampung’ Ramadan Special brings together renowned dishes that are inspired by the traditional local eateries which are simple but yet appetizing.

According to Holiday Inn Melaka Sous Chef, Chef Badarul Jaafar, the ‘Ala Kampung’ Ramadan is to recreate the familiar Malaysian taste to all diners.

Furthermore, the “Ala Kampung” not only refers to any particular cooking style, but features the diverse Malaysian dishes, as inspired by the local eateries, a truly Malaysian taste.

Throughout the month long promotion, there are 7 set menus that will be rotated on a daily basis. Each of the menu consist varieties of dishes to keep our customers excited.

A few hot items that our diners will look forward to are “ Sup Tulang Istimewa”, “Nasi Kerabu”, “Siput Sedut Masak Lemak dengan Keladi”, “Ayam Percik Pak Bada” and more. Furthermore, there will be total of 9 live action stalls to serve dishes such as Roasted Whole Lamb, Satay, “Ikan Bakar”, and Penang Char Kuay Teow.

The Ramadan buffet dinner will take place in es.sence kitchen at Holiday Inn Melaka, starts from 6.30pm until 10.30pm during the fasting season, from 29th June 2014 until 27th July 2014. Besides that, there will be Ghazal performance daily which heightens up the ‘Raya’ mood.

The price for the buffet dinner is RM85 nett per adult and RM42.50 nett per child.
