INDULGE IN “SELERA KAMPUNG” BUFFET SPREAD IN NOVOTEL KL CITY CENTRE!

This coming Holy Month, our scrumptious buffet spread at the Square restaurant Novotel KL City Centre with transport your palate back to the olden days of home-cooked food, just like the ones your grandma used to make !

Carefully prepared by our Executive Sous Chef Huzaidy and his dedicated team, they will be bringing back popular items from the past and re-introducing them in this year’s menu. With three different menu on rotation, “Selera Kampung” dinner buffet features the best of Malaysian kampung favorites prepared by the brigade of chefs based on their state of origin to maintain authenticity. Adopting traditional local recipes that has run in the family for generations, each Malay delicacy and specialty dish boasts aromatic flavors that stay true to the local cuisine. For example the Oxtail Asam Pedas is cooked by Chef Muzri from Melaka, Lamb Vindaloo by Chef Shahril from Kuala Selangor, Bubur Lambuk by Chef Muaz and Whole Lamb Tandoori is by none other than Chef Huzaidy.

The live cooking corner consists of Chicken & Beef Satay, Roti John (Chicken), assorted fritters (banana, tapioca, jackfruit, yam), Marinated Chicken Perchik on Shawarma, Oven Roasted Whole Lamb Tandoori, and a selection of fried items (honey chicken, otak-otak, murtabak, ikan bakar, vegetables pakoras and more). Hot dishes include Kerabu Rice, Spicy Soy Beef (daging kicap berempah), Mutton Masyur, Prawn Briyani, Lemongrass Chicken , Egg Korma, Steamed Fish with Soy & Ginger, Beef Rendang Tok, Mutton Varuval, Chicken Liver in Sweet Spicy Sauce, Melaka Fish ‘Asam Pedas’ and Prawns with Pineapple in Coconut Gravy (Udang masak lemak). Dessert corner will be offering two types of Sweet Porridge, a selection of ‘Malay Kuih’ 10 types, Rose Fruits Cocktail and selections of Ice-cream with condiments and assorted dates.

“Selera Kampung” dinner buffet is priced at RM88nett per adult, RM44nett children 8-12 years old.
