CREATIVITY IN A CUP OF CAPPUCINO AT ONESIXFIVE, INTERCONTINENTAL KUALA LUMPUR

July 8, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

The harmony of art and coffee continues at OneSixFive, the perfect place for any tête-à-têtes. The lounge and bar’s creative coffee menu extends to flavoured Cappuccino Brûlée, introducing a new way of enjoying a cup of cappuccino.

The unique dessert-like drink is essentially a cup of freshly brewed cappuccino topped with brown sugar and torched lightly to form a golden brown crust. The artisanal coffee comes with a choice of cinnamon, chocolate, caramel, or hazelnut topping for added flavour. To enjoy, slightly crack the top, sip and repeat the process for continuous indulgence. Cappuccino Brûlée promotion is priced at RM25++ per cup, available throughout the month of July and August from 9am to midnight daily.

The perfect place to meet and relax; in addition to handcrafted beverages, dining at OneSixFive is a delectable experience with exquisite high tea selections featuring a Malaysian influenced Selera Afternoon Tea and traditional Royal Afternoon Tea. Engage the dedicated tea connoisseur for one-of-a-kind tea humidor experience and smell the flavour and aroma before making a choice from OneSixFive’s impressive tea selection of black teas such as Imperial English breakfast, earl grey, Shanghai rose, golden Assam and the ‘champagne of teas’, thunderbolt Darjeeling. There is also a selection of green teas such as jasmine, genmai cha blended with toasted rice, and organic lychee tea from Japan, as well as a range of white teas, herbal teas and oolong teas for guests to discover.

Open daily from 8am until midnight, guests are invited to experience the while away the day and night at OneSixFive, enjoying an extensive selection of delicacy over 100 beverages including international wines and beers, as well as a pleasantly creative cocktail menu.
