CELEBRATING MID-AUTUMN FESTIVALWITH CLASSIC MOONCAKE SELECTIONS WITH TAI ZI HEEN, PRINCE HOTEL & RESIDENCE KUALA LUMPUR

July 2, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur welcomes the celestial mid-autumn festival with a variety of mooncakes from the classic baked selections and mini snow skins. The mooncakes are available at Tai Zi Heen Cantonese restaurant from 21 July to 8 September 2014.

This year, the Tai Zi Heen is offering all traditional favourites in the classic baked selections such as Five Variety Nuts, Rum and Raisin, While Lotus Paste with Single Egg Yolk, Pandan Paste with Single Egg Yolk and Low Sugar White Lotus Paste and Sunflower Seed.  In line with tradition, these selections have always been the popular favourites over the years as they are all made in-house to create the delectable mooncakes with a smooth textured paste, wrapped with thin layer of skin and baked to perfection.

For those who enjoy the mini snow skins, try the Mini Snow Skin Chocolate and Whisky and Mini Snow Skin filled with Yam Paste and Japanese Red Bean Compote.  Being some of the more unique flavours, the Mini Snow Skin Chocolate and Whisky is ideal for chocolate lovers while the latter is inspired by the Japanese flavours of ‘mochi’.

Guest can purchase the mooncakes from Tai Zi Heen at the following prices:
Mini Snow Skin
• RM11+ per piece (sold individually)
• RM54+ per box of 4 pieces
• RM68+ per box of 6 pieces
Traditional baked
• RM18+ per piece (sold individually)
• RM88+ per box of 4 pieces
All prices are subject to 6% government tax.
