CELEBRATING THE HERO IN OUR LIVES THIS FATHER’S DAY AT QUEENSBAY MALL

GIFT shopping has never been easy, especially buying for dads!

There is however no need to despair should one run out of ideas of what to get him this Father’s Day. You are bound to find the perfect present at Queensbay Mall, Penang’s premier shopping haven that offers much more than retail therapy.

So for Father’s Day, every shopper is assured of a memorable time spend bonding with their daddy dearest over amazing shopping, fabulous happenings and lip-smacking cuisines, all in style and comfort.

This year’s theme is “Celebrating the HERO in our lives!” for our fathers are not only our father figure, they are also our unsung hero who take care and protect the whole family no matter what.

They work hard to make sure we have a good life, moulding us into respected and successful individuals. In short, they are there with us every step of the way as we grow up.

And one of the many attributes that dad passed to their kids is sportsmanship and so the focus this year will be on sports and fitness. Queensbay has lined up a host of fantastic activities for an unforgettable celebration.

“Like Daddy, Like Me” Photo Contest
15 June, 2pm, Ground Floor North Zone
Capture the likeness between you and your dad clad in the coolest sportswear. Receive a complimentary 4R-sized photo (on the spot) as a memento while stand a chance to win amazing prizes from Takasima.

The top three prizes comprise of a Takasima Enamor II Luxury Massage Chair, Takasima Vivo Upright Bike and Takasima Bruce Lee Slant Board respectively. There are also three consolation prizes of Takasima Y-Mate Massage Cushion.

Open to fathers and their child(ren), registration for the contest is until 10pm on 14 June. Participants must dress to the sports theme with judging criteria based on matching style, creativity, charm, photogenic and lookalike appeal.

“Dress Like Daddy” Costume Competition
22 June, 2pm, Ground Floor North Zone
Open to kids aged five to 12 years old, style up to look like a mini-version of your dad for a chance to win cool prizes and trophies. Registration is open until 10pm on 21 June.

Besides dressing up as dad, the contestant is also required to pose and display a one minute introduction and talent presentation. Judging is based on costume, posture, special talent/props, creativity and showmanship.

“Best Dad” Trophy Design Competition
22 June, 4pm, Ground Floor North Zone

Show your appreciation for daddy by designing a super-cool trophy for him. The best top three design will walk away with prizes worth RM300, RM200 and RM100 respectively.

The contest is for kids aged five to 12 years old with registration open until 10pm on 21 June. The results will be announced after the competition of which judging criteria are on workmanship, teamwork, presentation and cleanliness.

Consisting of an adult and a child, each team will be given 60 minutes to complete their masterpiece. Participants are required to bring their own decorating tools, equipments and other supplies.

So don’t miss the chance to have loads of fantabulous and wholesome fun with the patriarch of the family only at Queensbay Mall!
