MRC CHARITY FAIR AT ALL SEASONS PLACE

May 16, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

This is the first time that MRC Penang Branch is collaborating with a private sector management company operating a new lifestyle shopping Mall in a fast growing suburb in the State of Penang. This All Seasons Place Mall caters to almost every aspect of modern lifestyle activities. The Mall has good food outlets, good neighbourhood shopping facilities and it offers modern health and fitness facilities. It even has karaoke facilities for budding singers. In other words, All Seasons Place caters to the tastes of the young, the old, the active and the family members of the township of Bandar Baru Air Itam and even Greater Georgetown.

MRC Penang Branch has chosen to collaborate with the management of All Seasons Place for its MRC Charity Fair because it believes in a win-win situation. Through this collaboration and cooperation, the shops and outlets operating in All Seasons Place and its management team will enable MRC Penang to collect the much needed funds for the MRC Projects and community-based programmes. We thank the Management of All Seasons Place for agreeing to host our MRC Charity Fair. We thank their tenants and shops for participating in this new fund-raising project.

The win for the Management and tenants is that our supporters and donors will come on May 18 to enjoy the facilities and food offered by the shops in the Mall. We hope the success of this project will see us holding this event at the Mall, year after year.

This MRC Charity Fair promises to be a carnival for the whole family. We will have lively demos of Wushu, Zumba, workshop for family amongst others. The idea is for all in the family  the little ones, the young, the old  to spend a fun-filled day at All Seasons Place on Sunday, May 18.

The MRC Charity Fair tickets are sold for 20 Ringgit per booklet. Each booklet has 14 points which is equivalent to 14 Ringgit and can be used to pay for the food, items and services offered in All Seasons on May 18. The shops at the Mall will be having special offers and discounts on that day. Hence although it may sound as if the family is paying more for the food and services, with the discounts and special offers given, they are actually paying out a little bit more in the name of Charity.

The MRC will organise a Ribbon-Cutting cum Drum-Beating Ceremony to herald the start of the MRC Charity Fair on May 18. This is to honour our major donors and sponsors. We want them to know that we truly value their donations and we would like them to step out and be with us at All Seasons Place on May 18.
