In celebration of the 50th anniversary of French-Chinese diplomatic relations, Hong Kong’s iconic heritage hotel Hullett House will present a series of authentic French wining and dining experience during Le French GourMay. Combining classic French craftsmanship with Rhône Valley wines and Lyon culinary delights, Hullett House offers an unexpected yet fascinating gastronomic journey in May.
“Golden Time of the Kings” Exhibits 18th Century Antique French Furniture and Art Objects

As a homage to Chinese inspiration in French Art during the 18th century, Hullett House is collaborating with Kraemer Gallery, a Paris-based antique gallery established in 1875, to bring a special collection of rare and original French antiques from the period of King Louis XIV (1643-1715), King Louis XV (1715–1774) and King Louis XVI (1774-1793) to the Champagne Room. Names of the most famous masters of the epoch include: Charles Cressent, Bernard II Van Risen Burgh (B.V.R.B), Jean Pierre Latz, François Lieutaud, and more. The displayed pieces could normally only be seen in major international museums such as the Palace of Versailles in France, the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Hermitage in St Petersburg, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the Getty Museum in Los Angeles. As a colonial building dating back to the 1880s, Hullett House is the best place to support “East meets West” cultural exchanges and to recreate the French spirit.
