ANDES BYO WESTERN RESTAURANT RELAUNCH AT AMAN SURIA

May 29, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Andes BYO brings us with their new look. From the old vintage look with the closed door, wooden tables and wooden floors, they had changed their new look with brings us with the classier restaurant.

Doors open wide; with a glow in the dark bar top ; rest ensured you will be pamper till the fullest here. Menu is pretty simple with the clips on top and serveral page of items in it. Simple menu with the varieties listed beautifully. It’s easy to get your orders done.

Started with their awesome pig in blanket (RM 14.90) where it is being served together with the mustard sauce. The delicious pig in the blanket comes well with the juicy bite of sausages together with the crunchy bites of bacon wrapped around it. The porlklicious sausage did not disappoint us though.

Comes next is the pork satay (RM 16.90). Skewer of porklicious delights, the pork satay comes impressively delicious. The huge skewer of pork satay is well marinated with their signature sauce. The skewers are awesome as it is bringing us the juicy blend of delights with the tender sensation. Comes together with the creamy peanut sauce had made a good match with the juicy satay which is being served.

Coming next is one of their signature which is the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (RM 15.90). The cream based pasta which is cooked till al-dente added with the crispy bacon and parmesan cheese in it. The pasta comes pretty heavy to me as I found it too creamy.

One of my favorites – Alio E Olio (RM 14.90) where the spaghetti is being toassed with garlic, infused with olive oil and added with the bacon bites. The spaghetti is deliciously done in all ways where the spaghetti is cooked al-dente and with the chilly flakes added to it; it brings us a light spicy blend. It is awesome as it is and we are indeed falling in love with it so much!

The Andes Pork Burger (RM 18.90) where the signature in house made pork patty is being stuffed with cheese is being pan fried and served with the mayonaise and some greenies. Served graciously on top of a wooden wood; it is accompany with a bowl of greenies and a cup of French fries. Clean serving of burger. The porklicious delights come well where the patty comes juicy and moist in it. I love it so much!

For non pork lover; order their Fish and Cheese (RM 19.90) which is another awesome dish too. The Breaded dory fish is being topped with the mozzarella cheese and it is served with the fries and homemade tartar sauce. The fish is being breadcrumb and deep fried till golden brown and topped with the mozzarella cheese. It is just awesome as it is bringing us a flaky and moist fish with the crispy layered.

If you love to get a little twist of delights instead of the usual western delights; try their chilli padi lamb chop (RM 23.90). The authentic 10 oz lamb chop cooked with chilli padi and garlic. The awesome combination with the twist of light spiciness is something new to try off.

We ended with a great dessert. The heavenly coffee based beverage, with a shot of hot espresso and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, plus not forgotten the couple of crunchy biscotti for some bites. It is just awesome and the dessert just melts my heart.

Overall; Andes BYO is a great place for porklicious meals. Do pop in to have a great meal at Andes without burning your pockets.
