SALMON PROMOTION AT UTARA CAFÉ, ARMADA HOTEL

April 6, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

In the month of March and April 2014, Armada Hotel presents you with their new promotion which is the Norwegian salmon Promotion. Bringing you the masterpiece by Chef Chew from Utara Cafe, you can now enjoy the lovely delights with your love one here with their salmon promotion. In Utara Café they offers a total of 8 different to choose for and price starts from RM 25.00++/serving.

E-20140325-1800

The delicious Pacific Rim Salmon Soup (RM 25++) is well cooked with the creamy texture and the creamy soup is generously topped with the slices of thin mushroom adn served together with a slice of garlic bread. The delicious soup gives us a creamy texture and each mouthful of the soup is indeed creamy. Chef Chew had made the soup perfecto with the diced carrots, leeks and also pieces of salmon which can be found in the soup itself.

E-20140325-1770

Next we had their Salmon Roulade & Oyster Gratin (RM 30++) ; the delicious platter is indeed a great combination for oysters lover where the oysters are being baked with gratin. As for the salmon, it is being stuffed with spinash and cheese and then being rolled and poached. Served together with a bed of cheese, spinash mash and some prawn “bisque”; I found the flavours are too flavourful to me. The portion is such a huge one too where I can’t complete the whole meal.

E-20140325-1732
Salmon Tikka with Fragrant Rice & Acar (RM26.00++) comes well in a plate which is filled with the fragrant herbs blended with it. The salmon fish is being marinated with the herbs and spicies with it and it is then being grilled till perfection. Flaky fish meat to be enjoyed with the smooth and buttery fragrant rice with the appetizing acar is perfect.

E-20140325-1731

Salmon Caesar Salad (RM26.00++) is a light but yet a filling delights. We really enjoyed the dressings of the Ceasar Salad which is flavoursome. The salad comes well with the good portions of garden greens together with salmons. Well done with the twist of savory and a healthy portion to enjoy.

E-20140325-1780
Try their Foil Baked Norwegian Salmon (RM 28.00++) where the Norwegian Salmon is such a homely dish. The baked Salmon is well baked with zucchini, capsicums & mushrooms. With the lemon juice added into it; the taste is pretty refreshing though.

E-20140325-1792

We also had the Salmon Tostadas (RM26.00++). The plate of Salmon Tostadas is served together with the tortillas, guacamole, sour cream and tomato salsa with it. The good portion of salmon chunks, capsicums, jalapenos, tomatoes, & cheese all is packed in the salmon tostalas itself. It is such a great bites of Mexican delights to savour for here.

E-20140325-1746

Salmon Ratatouille (RM28.00++) is one of the “best seller” in Utara Coffee House. The salmon ratatouille made a good taste where the salmon is just good as it is and the cut of the vegetable is perfect in the taste itself leaving a awesome meal.

E-20140325-1756

Ended with the Salmon and Potatoes Au Gratin (RM28.00++) comes with the great combination of flavours and the salmon is very flavourful, creamy and also smooth in its texture. It is such a good combimnation of delights to look for.
