NEW MENU OF CAFE O

April 4, 2014 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

NEW to Cafe O…! Cafe O’s new menu will launch on 20 March. In addition to the much-loved signature dishes, which will remain firmly on the menu (please see attached for more information on the signature dishes), the new menu will feature the following highlights:

1.       Nutritional Information Across All Dishes. As part of the new menu launch, every Cafe O food item will now come with nutritional information including calories, carbs, protein and fat. The nutritional detail will also include symbols, indicating whether a dish is a Vegetarian, Healthy Choice or Spicy option. The nutritional information will appeal to Hong Kong’s health-conscious residents and support those diners looking to shift to a healthier lifestyle by providing information and choices necessary to make an informed decision.

2.       Pizza Wraps. Substantial and healthy, Cafe O’s delicious new Pizza Wraps are powerhouses of flavour yet come in at under 500 calories per wrap. They have been designed by award-winning pizza creator, Claudio Conforti. Nicknamed ‘Pizza Papa’ by Hong Kong’s die-hard Crustafarians, Claudio was the recipient of the Gold Award at the 2013 Fonterra Pizza Challenge, an award he has won for the second consecutive year.  Diners can enjoy the following mouth-watering combinations:

o   Truffle & Fresh Vegetables (HKD 68) – only 363 calories per serving

o   Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese (HKD 78) – only 473 calories per serving

3.       Healthy Hearty Cakes. A range of heart-healthy cakes, made without butter, processed white sugar, flour, additives or colorants. The all-natural cake range includes:

o Lemon & Chia Seed – only 160 calories per serving
o Beetroot & Orange Cake – only 239 calories per serving
o Carrot & Ginger Cake – only 160 calories per serving
