HÄAGEN-DAZS REVEALS ITS MANGO AND RASPBERRY FLAVOR AS ITS ULTIMATE SCOOP OF SUMMER!

April 22, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

It was a balmy night of fun and excitement for those who attended the Häagen-Dazs “Scoop of Summer” party. In line with the launch, Häagen-Dazs also unveiled their sizzling new summer scoop, the Häagen-Dazs Mango and Raspberry ice cream.

Held at Luna Bar, the event was recreated to look like a summer beach party. The event saw 150 guests, clad in colorful summer beachwear gathering to celebrate the summery season. The attendees included celebrities like Peter Davis, Patricia Knudsen, Cathryn Lee and Dennis Yin. Hunky DJ Joey G hosted the event while musician Darren Ashley was there to entertain the crowd.

One of the highlights of the night was a team of mixologists serving two special bespoke cocktails available only during the night, which featured the new Mango and Raspberry flavor! Guests could opt for a “Summer Secrets” cocktail or “A Pink Discovery” cocktail. As an additional bonus, they also indulged in a free flow of Häagen-Dazs Mango and Raspberry takeaway creations!

During the night, guests were also invited to join in the hunt for the big scoop contest, where they had to identify a male or female model that they think have stolen the 6 months supply of Häagen-Dazs ice cream. Clues were dropped on the Häagen-Dazs Malaysia Instagram page to help them narrow down the search. One of the lucky winners of the night was famous YouTube actress Marianne Tan – who walked away with 6 months’ supply of Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

“Malaysia is known for their hot summer spells, and ice cream is one of the most widely craved scoops during summer. At Häagen-Dazs we understand that consumers need to define new experiences. We intend to help consumers find those experiences, be it through enjoying a favourite ice cream or a special summer experience. We hope to establish through this scoop of summer campaign that consumers can experience their own scoop of summer experience anytime and anywhere, with any Häagen-Dazs ice cream creations during a summer day!” quotes Mr. Narubodee Wathanakom, Head of General Mills, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Asia Distributor Markets.

Before the night ended, beat boxer Koujee entertained the crowd with a round of beatboxing.
