INTERNATIONAL BUFFET AT VOGUE CAFE, RENAISSANCE KUALA LUMPUR

March 9, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Renaissance Hotel is a definite place to pamper your tummies which is grumbling for food. The perfect place to enjoy the international buffet with the variety of choices: international as well as local spreds to quench the desires for curious chompers. Looking along the busy streets across Jalan Sultan Ismail and scenic view of Menara KL, the place is perfect to enjoy our weekends here.

We started our buffet spread with the ample choices of buns and soup. Dipped the choices of buns in their scrumptious soup of the day or even spread your buns with the cheese and butter on the plate to warm up the tummy before moving to the scrumptious choices of mains.

Walking to the mains, they have the selection of Malaysian delights with some Chinese cuisine combination here too. From the spread of choices of chicken meat, bbq duck, spaghetti as well as the roasted chicken and wantan, it is enough to stuff the tummy with those delicious items. I love the wanton here, each mouthful is lovely wih the moist texture of the ingridients inside, and the juiciness of it is really indulging. The chicken meat is also a good one to try them too where it is just tender as it is without leaving any greesiness of its texture, and what I love is the sauce which is added to it, leaving a great aroma.

Not only that, they do have live seafood which is laid ontop of bed of ice. The scrumptious choices of seafood: prawns, crayfish, oysters and more. It is just fresh and delicious; add a pinch of lime on the oysters brings you the sweet temptations.

On the next counters, you can find the variety of salad, shabu shabu too. Greenies is just perfect to balance up with the great selection of meaty delights and seafood of your choice.

They also served sushis too in their buffet spread.

A sweet note of fruits and desserts, just get right to tempt my tastebuds and end our heavy buffet meal. With the wide selection of petite of cakes, pies, puddings and ice cream, it is just as good as it is that melts my heart and add some sweet memories after the heavy delights.

Guests can also opt for the Dinner Buffet which is available on Fridays and Saturdays from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

The Dinner Buffet and the Weekend Long Lunch are priced at RM103++ and half price for children between 6 to 12 years old.

Vogue Café is located at the Lobby Level – West Wing, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel. For further enquiries and restaurant reservations, please call 03 2162 2233 or email [email protected].
