HAI KOAY TEOW TH’NG, RELAU PENANG

Ideally located in the town of Relau, more new restaurant are mushrooming around the area with new constructions and development. We spotted one of the shops – Hai Koay Teow Th’ng (海粿条汤) which signatures its Koay Teow Soup there and we decided to get a try of it. They have not much variety where they only have either the koay teow soup or chicken rice.

The koay teow soup (RM5.00) here brings us with the smooth silky noodles and toped with a huge piece of minced pork on top and some bouncy fish ball with it. The koay teow soup leaves us with the flavourful blend from the soup itself.

As for me, I had the “Lou Shu Fan: which is another thing we had where instead of the usual koay teow soup. Pretty standard with the scrumptious ingridients, but it is just normal to my likings and nothing to shout about.
