DOLCE, JALAN KEK CHUAN

March 30, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

DOLCE

We are finally in Penang and being a food lover, there is nothing but to eat in Penang. Stuffed with lots of seafood after our trip in Pulau Aman, we decided to make a move to Dolce which is located in Jalan Kek Chuan.

DOLCE

Dolce is a restaurant which is located at Jalan Kek Chuan where they serve coffee and pasteries. What make is so special is the
wall art which is filled with rats all over. The rats arts is dressing over the wall which is superbly cute which I could not resist to snap the pictures of the rats which is all over the shop itself.

DOLCE

Well, we had made an order of the Passion Fruit Cheese Cake (RM8.80) to pamper ourselves. The cake comes out to be velvety smooth in its texture and it is well layered with the fresh blend of passion fruit seeds. Every mouthful of the cake itself brings us with the zesty and soury blend of the cake itself and the blend is not so sweet. The cake just melts in the mouth which I love the most.

DOLCE

Besides the Passion Fruit Cake, we had the Strawberry on the Shortcake (RM 15.90). Recommended by the workers for their signature delights, we ordered them without any hesitation/ The delights is freshly made upon order where we waited around 10-15 minutes for it. Layered with fresh creams, thin wafer texture and slices of juicy fresh strawberry. Not too sweet but the delights is good enough to melts my heart.
