LIONS WERE INVITED TO BLESS IMPIANA KLCC HOTEL

February 9, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration, Impiana KLCC Hotel has recently organized an acrobatic and traditional lion dance event at the hotel. The traditional Lion Dance, part of the Chinese culture for thousands of years, is performed on auspicious occasions. The lion, a symbol of power, wisdom, and good fortune chases away evil spirits and brings happiness, longevity and good luck.

The event was witnessed by both the hotel guests and public as the performance started at the lobby where the lions performed and distributed mandarin oranges to the audiences, which is another way of receiving blessings. The lions then proceeded to the entrance which is at the side of Jalan Pinang, showcased the acrobatic acts and impressed everyone. The event was concluded with the lions blessing the special tray and handed it to the hotel’s management team lead by the general manager, Mr Andre Pierre Gentzsch, for better luck and success from then onwards.

Mr Andre expressed, “We will maintain the high service standards and exclusive services being rendered to our guests at all times as guests love to bring back a memorable experience as they leave the hotel.”

Immediately after that, the lions moved aggressively for the office blessings ceremony which includes departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Purchasing, F&B outlets, Marketing Communications, Finance, Sales and others.
