Pottinger Street (砵典乍街) is one of the places which is famous and worth to walk around. Though it just a plain street by itself, but this street had made it to many movies too. One of the movies which I remember is from the movie : Sparrow (文雀) directed by Johnnie To. The movie which had captured my attention where it won several awards too.
Since we are in Hong Kong, we make our decision, to walk around the street which is located at Central, Hong Kong. It is also better known as the Stone Slabs Street (石板街) by the locals, after the granite stone steps which are a rarity nowadays in Hong Kong. The street was named after Henry Pottinger, the first Governor of Hong Kong.
The street is filled with the granite stone steps and there are little stalls along the left and right of the streets selling a variety of stuff which includes clothings, hats and more. It is pretty fun enjoying the life in Hong Kong walking round there.
