Being in Malacca, it is fun to enjoy street food all along like I love to do in Penang. We take the courage to wonder into the dark, eerie side lanes which is just one off the main throught the Malacca town.
The narrow street is decidedly unsavoury with the mpuldy walls with peeling paint. In here, we spotted the small group of people sitting on a very low stool waiting silently. They gather at a long low table laden with plates of live cockles, snails and other shellfish.

We pointed on which we love to order and the sellers will cooked them just behind with hot water and comes with the sauce together. The shell fish are pried open with bare hands and enjoy them with the tiny two pronged forks. We extract the mollusk meat from their shells and dip thenm into the calamansi flavoured sambal. Other things available includes the siput saeoh, kepoh and also sotong kangkung.
The experience is a great one with the large variety of delights and fresh food, it is just such a great dining experience.
