LUNAR NEW YEAR AT PRINCE HOTEL & RESIDENCE KUALA LUMPUR CELEBRATE WITH AUSPICIOUS DELIGHTS AT TAI ZI HEEN

Welcome the Year of the Horse this Chinese New Year with Tai Zi Heen auspicious festive delights, offering a mix of fashionably modern and traditional festive dishes. Meticulously crafted by Chinese Head Chef Michael Wong and his talented culinary team at Tai Zi Heen, the wide range of Chinese New Year set menus and festive a la carte selections are all set to tempt.

To start of the celebration, Chef Michael Wong has created three special set menus that will take you on a culinary journey. Guest can choose from 3 different set menus namely Spring and Happiness,

Everlasting Prosperity and the Wealth and Fortune. The set menus are priced from RM1288++ to

RM1988++ per table of 10 persons. Highlights from the menu include Roasted Chicken Sprinkled with

Crispy Garlic served with Five Spice Salt, Pan-Fried Jumbo Tiger Prawn with Chef’s Signature Sauce, Hong Kong-Style Steamed Grouper with Spring Onions, Coriander topped Superior Sauce and Double Boiled  Chicken with Whole Abalone, Dried Scallop, Bamboo Pith and Vegetables. A must try dessert from the set menu is the Chilled Pumpkin Puree with Sago Cream topped with Vanilla Ice Cream and Pistachio Nuts.

In addition to the set menus, a special Chinese New Year ala carte menu is introduced for this  celebration. Items include Double Boiled Fish Maw with Chicken and Dried Scallops in Superior Broth, Crispy Prawns Coated with Lemon Dressing Garnished with Tropical Fruit Salsa and Tobiko; Twice Cooked Tea Smoked Duck with Spicy Mango Chutney and Braised Japanese Sun Dried Scallops, Dried Oysters and Fatt Choy.To complement every Chinese New Year gatherings, a selection of Yee Sang is available during this period. Toss to a year of new beginnings, luck and prosperity with Vegetarian Snow Pear Yee Sang; Four Seasons Prosperity Yee Sang (which consist of four different types of fish – Butterfish, Salmon, Tuna and Jellyfish), Abalone Yee Sang, Salmon Yee Sang Hamachi Yee Sang and Canadian Surf Clam Yee Sang.

These auspicious Chinese New Year menus are available from 9 January till 14 February 2014. For those seeking Chinese New Year private gatherings at the hotel’s function room, the Chinese New Year set menus are available from 1 January 2014.
