The season kicks off with The Place’s spread of Christmas goodies including Beef Wellington and Kintoa ham carving stations, Christmas turkey and freshly seared French foie gras. Feasts are topped off with The Place’s classic show-stoppers such as freshly shucked oysters, Canadian crab and jet-fresh seafood and for an additional HK$288, guests may pop a bottle of champagne to elevate the season.
For kids and the young-at-heart, the gingerbread decorating station offers one of a kind gingerbread treats, while Santa and balloonists entertain guests on 24th and 25th December. Children will be gifted with a Christmas present to take home too.

“BBB” Christmas at The Backyard
Barbeque, Beer and Brezza Rosso – The Backyard’s Christmas gourmet barbeques include wagyu beef skewers, Szechuan pepper and lime scented tiger prawns and more gorgeous grills, perfectly paired with premium craft beer and Lungarotti Brezza Rosso wines.
Each guest may also enjoy half a live-grilled Boston Lobster with garlic herb butter and The Place’s festive buffet spread.

ABSOLUT Mixology Magic
For a taste of the festive cocktails, Kowloon’s breezy bar and under the night sky will be alive and kicking. The Backyard partners with one of the world’s coolest premium spirit brands, ABSOLUT Vodka, to create two festive cocktails for the season: the heart-warming Santa Claus using ABSOLUT, red wine, cranberry juice, clove and cinnamon, promising a sweet, warm flavour; and the wintery Snowy Christmas, an ABSOLUT-based cocktail is topped with crème de Cacao white, Tiramisu syrup and a hint of fresh banana.
Boutique Buffets at Portal – Work & Play
The effortlessly stylish Portal – Work & Play opens up a boutique buffet for the first time with its popular freshly shucked oyster bar, live-cut Pata Negra, Gammon ham, Beef Wellington and of course, turkey. Also included for all guests is a whole Boston lobster Thermidor prepared à la minute.
Theatrical Crèpes Suzettes are served tableside and the popular Chocolate Bar will be in full swing.
Throughout December, the seasonal menu will also be offered daily, with a selection tasteful nibbles including Chicken Quesadillas with Tomato Salsa, Guacamole, Sour Cream, Mini Beef and Bone Marrow Burgers with Cambonzola. (Please refer to the appendix for menu.)
