Bike Hero is a challenging game of avoiding obstacles while collecting Mag-A-Cones for points as you travel on a scooter. Players are given a choice of a female rider or a male rider. Three lives will be given at the start of the game with a chance to unlock a more powerful scooter using your points in order to overcome greater obstacles. Players can instantly earn 100 points by sharing the game once on Facebook.
The game gets more interesting with a Bonus Stage for players to earn points faster. To activate the Bonus Stage, players would need to purchase a Magnolia Mag-A-Cone ice cream to get an alphanumeric code located under the lid. The Bonus Stage requires players to get out and about to iconic places in Malaysia such as shopping malls, tourist spots and colleges. The GPS coordinates of these places have been tagged in the system and can be detected using a smart phone. Once the smartphone has detected the location, the app incorporates Augmented Reality (AR) technology by allowing players to collect more points in real time as they appear on their touchscreen!
The Mag-A-Cone Bike Hero contest which will run from 1st November 2013 until 23rd January 2014, enables players to submit their scores at any point of time in the contest duration. Winners will be selected based on the highest scores.
