MARINI’S ON 57 CELEBRATES ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Marini’s on 57, Malaysia’s highest rooftop bar, restaurant and lounge, celebrated its first anniversary with an extravagant party, with around 600 guests comprising of VIPs, celebrities, notable industry figures who are its loyal patrons, and the media.

Boasting a 360 degree view of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Marini’s on 57’s first year of operations has been marked by many successful milestones including Expatriate Lifestyle’s Best of Malaysia Travel Awards 2013 and Top 10 in ‘My Favourite Interior Design – Restaurant Edition Award’. In the past year, Marini’s on 57 has been featured on notable international television networks such as Travel Channel International’s, “Asian Times”, Germany’s most popular reality show, “Die Geissens”, “MasterChef Indonesia” Season 3, “The Apartment Style Edition” Season 2, “The Apprentice Asia”, the Asian Food Channel and in magazines and dailies such as, DestinAsian, World Shanghai Tourism, The Sunday Times and the Herald Sun in Australia and many more.

The iconic rooftop destination has also hosted many internationally acclaimed celebrities such as American singer Nicole Scherzinger, world prominent golfer Tiger Woods, Britain’s Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes Formula One driver Nico Rosberg, former English footballer and manager Glenn Hoddle, LPGA star Paula Creamer and Michelle Wie, Danish tennis player Caroline Wozniacki, American PGA Professional Chris Stroud, season one winner of Masterchef US Whitney Miller, Dato’ Jimmy Choo and many more.

The celebration saw guests laughing away to jokes by stand-up comedian Kavin Jay and enjoying music performance by Sufiah Nor & Common Ground Trio Jazz. The night heated up with music spinned by DJ Dano EF and vocalist Ushera. Guests were entertained all through the night invoking the senses of sight, taste and sound, coupled with panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline. A wide selection of gastronomic food and drinks were served.

Perched on the 57th floor of Menara 3 Petronas, Marini’s on 57 employs a three-in-one venue concept whereby patrons can enjoy contemporary food, great cocktails, fantastic views and music, at the same time. Over the year, it has steadily garnered acclaim as one of the best rooftop bar, restaurant and lounge regionally.
