HIDDEN JEWEL OF THE HAINAN CHICKEN RICE AT HOONG HOONG, DESA AMAN PURI

October 8, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

It was indeed a hidden gem we found in Desa Aman Puri.Being to the area of Desa Aman Puri would be always remembered for the delicious crab meals I had at Fei Fei Crab but now I found a chicken rice shop which is not far from Fei Fei Crab. The shop is not really significantly recognized as it is quite dark at night. There is nothing much fancy about the shop. The old shop with sitting outside and inside of the shops are available.

In here, they do have 2 types of chicken which is being served which is the village chicken and another is the farmchicken. I always love to have the farm chicken comparable to the village chicken where the village chicken will have more bite to it compared to the farm-chicken as they are running

The Hainanese Chicken rice do impress me with the succulent tender juicy meat. The chicken meat was served topped with delicately-seasoned served with the soy sauce and laid on the bed of cucumber with it. The juiciness and the deliciously made items is just superb. The chicken meat is just perfectly prepared where the meat sweetness and juiciness is there. Not only that, the serving of the chilly sauce together with the garlic paste makes the Hainanese Chicken even more perfect. Not only that, the rice comes out very fluffy and fragrant as well.

Besides the chicken itself, the porky balls is impressively good as well. Bouncy and chewy texture of the pork balls makes it even more perfect and nicely done.

Price: RM 32.50
