Some old fashioned kopitiam is still exist in Klang. We had ours in the modern days around the Little India in Klang itself. Chong Kok Kopitiam in Klang is a well-known meeting place, and the little coffeeshop always surprise us. This decade-old of kopitiam is having the muhibbah feeling when I entered the kopitiam. The kopitiam is filling up with chinese, malay, and indians sitting together chatting and enjoying the lovely morning coffee together. Chong Kok kopitiam was not hard to find as it faced the main road and it is not to far away from the KTM station of Klang.
What’s their main selling point? The drinks. It is their kopi which is perfectly made. Their thick coffee, aromatic, and strong taste of coffee is just perfect for breakfast. Perhaps, the Malaysian style of drinks where we need to rejuvenate ourself and being fresh for the perfect day with a cup of coffee.
Next we had their lovely toast bread for a breakfast. It has been so long I had toast bread and brings me the memory of childhood with grandparents around. The toast bread is just perfect with the fluffy bun texture together with the traditional kaya spread on the bread. A superb breakfast to start our day.
We ended with their cheese cake which is also a good one. The home made cheese cake which is as perfect as it is with the creamy texture is superb
