CRAFTED WITH LOVE, HAAGEN DAZS SIGNATURE ICE CREAM MOONCAKES MAKES A GRAND RETURN THIS MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL

September 2, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Celebrate this Mid-Autumn Festival by surprising your loved ones with delectable ice cream Mooncakes. An exciting, alternative in this season of Mooncake gifting, Häagen-Dazs ice cream Mooncakes are definitely bound to thrill anyone who receives it.

Crafted with love since 1997, Häagen-Dazs has given the age-old Mooncake an ornate and contemporary spin-by marrying it with their premium ice cream. Since its introduction in the Malaysian markets, it has been widely accepted by ice cream connoisseurs and ice cream lovers alike.

Encased in chocolate coating and built on a crispy praline base, Häagen-Dazs ice creams Mooncakes have a harmonious blend of textures that makes it the perfect after-dinner treat. These handcrafted treasures house a refreshing mango sorbet center that acts as the ‘yolk’, embedded in a choice of 4 Häagen-Dazs ice cream flavors: Chocolate, Strawberry, Macadamia Nut and Cookies and Vanilla Cream.

Two days of meticulous work is required to prepare every single Häagen-Dazs ice cream Mooncake. Smooth, velvety Häagen Dazs ice cream is cast and sculpted into the signature dome, before an hour of delicate handcrafting to places the mango sorbet center within it. Following ten hours in the freezer, the dainty treat is then mounted on a crispy praline base and swathed in a coat of lush chocolate. To give it that elegant finishing, an intricate chocolate plate is then bestowed upon the Mooncake.

Nothing exemplifies affection and regard for loved ones better than Mooncakes conscientiously prepared by masterful chefs dedicated to their craft. Every Mooncake serves as a testament to Häagen-Dazs’ commitment to quality and their ability to combine both traditional and innovation in their products.

Quotes, Mr. Narubodee Wathanakom, Head of Marketing, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Asia Distributor Markets, “Ice cream has always been a forefront of our business. Hence by introducing the ice cream Mooncakes this Mid-Autumn festival season, we are enticing the young with creative ways of celebrating a traditional festival so that they will be encouraged to carry on with this tradition.”
