ZHŌNG QIŪ MOONCAKES AT CORUS HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR

August 29, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

Make your way down to Ming Palace Chinese Restaurant at Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur from the 19th of July to the 19th of September this year and indulge yourself in many of our different varieties of mooncakes, all hand prepared by our award winning chefs.

For all of your mooncake needs this mid-autumn festival, our renowned chefs will be baking up 10 scrumptious varieties of mooncakes; all prepared with the finest ingredients, such as our 100% pure D24 and Musang King durian paste, top quality lotus seeds, and the freshest assorted nuts, to make sure we maintain our reputation for having mooncakes that are truly irresistible.

Returning in our top favourites this mid-autumn festival is the Snow-Skin Musang King Durian Mooncake (RM26), with its full bodied aroma, smooth, rich, and creamy texture; this heavenly mooncake is the most sought after during mid-autumn festival.

Apart from the mooncake made of King of Durians, an original Corus Hotel creation which was voted by StarMetro as the award winning mooncake in 2010 and 2011, the gold medal Snow-Skin D24 Durian Mooncake (RM20) also tops the favourites list.

Our new addition in the snow-skin category for this year is the luxurious Snow-Skin Green Tea with Red Bean and Walnut Mooncake (RM18), made with the highest quality of green tea and walnuts, giving it a perfect balance of sweetness and a little after kick because of its unique flavour.

For a traditional kick, there are 7 lip-smacking collections of baked mooncakes including the must-have White Lotus Paste and Single Yolk (RM21), Assorted Nuts and Seeds (RM22), and Red Bean Paste and Melon Seed (RM19).

Chef’s personal recommendations are White Lotus Paste (Less Sugar) (RM20), Lotus Paste and Single Yolk (RM21) OR Double Yolks (RM22), and Golden Jadette and Single Yolk (RM21) mooncakes.

As a thoughtful gift this Mid-Autumn festival, why not pick a set of 4-pieces of mouth-watering mooncakes for that special someone or even for business partners? Each set of 4 mooncakes comes in an exquisite custom-made box in a vibrant red colour with flower abstract design.

Patrons may enjoy a 15% discount when using their debit or credit card from any of the following banks: CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, RHB Bank, OCBC Bank, Public Bank, Citibank, Diners Club, HSBC, UOB, Standard Chartered and Ambank; or an even more appetising 20% discount when you use you debit, credit, or American Express card from Maybank. There are also limited-time discounts available for bulk orders.

Please note, we ask for a minimum of 3 days reservation prior to collection, to ensure the freshness of our mooncakes.
