BUFFET AT BALI HAI RESTAURANT, KOTA DAMANSARA

Bali Hai has always been famous for their seafood and the outlet in Penang neverless one of the fames not only within the local but also within the tourist too. Now, The seafood restaurant is now also in Kota Damansara just a few walks away from the Tune Hotel. It is just perfectly located and the design is quite similar with their outlet in Penang with the large tanks of fishes, seafood live swimming and the Balianese setting space.

This place is huge and full of comfort, the seating capacity at Bali Hai Kota Damansara is 700-800, featuring 5 private dining rooms, and 8 gazebo huts. Not only that, we are being surprised with the washroom which is air-conditioned and well maintained. The ramadan buffet menu apperas to be different from day to day as their menu items rotate and each day the cooking styles differ to maintain a variety of flavours and cooking styles.

For this month, they have launch the Buffet spread where their choices is not as much as 100 over items like in the hotel buffet, but the offerings are superb with the quality fresh seafood which is worth for each penny you spend. The buffet spread are just superb with the variety of catch to eat seafood- from Crabs, Oysters, Prawns and more. What we have for this round will be their simply superb delicious item of their buffet spread.

The Hot & Spicy Crab or named as Chili Crab is one of the item which is worth to go for in their buffet spread. Fresh and huge crabs from their tank. The spicy crab are well cooked with the chilies and it is superbly cooked. Loving not just the crab itself, the sauce does compliments well with their crab. Indulge with it till full and we are falling in love with it completely.

“Fresh prawns is not in need to added with any flavours”, that’s what mum always says. And here, we are being pampered with their delicious fresh prawns which is just being boiled. The meat is simply juicy and the texture of the meaty and sweet juicy flavours is there. We could never believe that, it is never enough with the prawns where each bites of the prawns is juicy and reminded me on the fresh prawns we had in Sabah.

The buffet spread do serves us with the huge fresh oysters too. The delicious fresh oysters are being served fresh and juicy and looking at eat had made our tummy drooling and saliva dropping. The juicy fresh oyster on ice is just perfect and tempting.

More seafood coming includes the Mussels which is being served in Thai Chilli Sauce. The Mussels are freshly served and cooked together with the spicy soury chilly sauce in indeed appetizing. Sweet and soury flavoured with the tantalizing soury bites with the freshness of the mussels is just perfect.

Not to forget, we also had also tried the crispy deep fried squids which is well battered and it is then being deep fried till crispiness. The squids gives a crispy taste at the outside with the juicy taste of the squid itself in the inside. The battered is just well made not too thick which I love the most.

If you prefer something spicy, do opt for their Kam Heung Sauce which is the Mussels which is being stir fried together with the kam heung paste. Deliciously made with the spicy blend, it is just perfect and the taste is amazingly good and lovely. It is filled with spiciness which I love to go about it.

Fish lovers would not be disappointed with their Deep Fried Fish Fillet and Roasted Potato. Perfectly deep fried with the sauces with it, the fish is simply something different to try off. The well deep fried with the added with the roasted potato together made a great mix of the meal itself.

I am falling in love with the Deep Fried Crispy Chicken with Garlic and Curry Leaves. The delights not only chewy and well flavoured with the garlic and curry leaves, but it is left with the juicy chicken and tender chicken meat which is well flavoured.

Lamb Chops in Sweet and Sour Sauce is also available to be dine as well. The delights is just perfectly made with the lamb are just perfectly juicy where it is being topped with the tantalizing sweet and sour sauce.

Salt & Chilli BBQed Chicken Wings is where the chicken wings is being added with salt and some chilly bbq powder on to it. The chicken wings appear to me to be salty.

Besides that, we also had the BBQed Grilled chicken satay and the BBQed Oyster Mushrooms, Shiitake Mushrooms, and Long Beans.Well made with the juiciness in it, the skewers are simply good to have beside seafood. Aside from the vast variety of the seafood, they do have stir fried vegetables, fried rice, fried bihun and more in the buffet spread.
