Berbuka Puasa” or the breaking of fast during the month of Ramadan at Hilton Petaling Jaya’s Paya Serai restaurant is definitely an occasion not to be missed. This year, the halal certified restaurant is going back to the very essence of “kampung” style cooking by incorporating classic Ramadan dishes as well as new signature dishes, created by the hotel’s Malay chef, Chef Noor Hisham.

The extensive buffet will contain a large variety of options from an extravagant spread of local favorites from different states in Malaysia to Hilton Petaling Jaya’s all-time Ramadan favorites.

“These dishes are inspired by the food I enjoyed growing up with and it gives me great pleasure to share these with our guests during Ramadan. Of course, there will be the all-time favorites which have always had people flocking back to Hilton Petaling Jaya without fail during Ramadan year after year,” says Chef Hisham, who will be preparing dishes inspired by his home town of Perak.

Popular for its delicious and bountiful buffet spread, especially tailored for this spiritual month, Paya Serai’s brigade of talented chefs led by Chef Hisham will spoil guests with quintessential Ramadan dishes which have become renowned among Hilton Petaling Jaya’s loyal buka puasa foodies as all-time favourites to more contemporary kampung delights.

In keeping up with the new look and feel of the recently refurbished Hilton Petaling Jaya, Chef Hisham will be presenting new dishes to mark the fresh, new and vibrant outlook of the hotel, inspired by each chef’s home town.

Guests can begin the “Buka Puasa” experience by indulging in the new signature dishes including Sup Gearbox, Mee Rebus Tulang, Lamb Shank Beriani, Udang Goreng Daun Kari and Ikan Patin Bakar Tempoyak.

Although new dishes are the features for this Ramadan, the team at Paya Serai will not overlook popular dishes that have kept people coming back for more every year. Savour famous dishes like Daging Rendang Tok, Bubur Lambuk, Ayam Perchik, Ikan Terubuk Panggang and Nasi Bokhari Ayam. With a wide selection of dishes to choose from appetisers, main course and mouth-watering desserts, one day at Paya Serai is not enough especially when the menus rotate every day.

Children below 12 years old get to enjoy the Ramadan spread at just half price. Make your reservation with us starting now until the 1st of July to enjoy an early bird discount.
