ILLUMINATE THE “BALIK KAMPUNG’ SPIRIT AT ECCUCINO, PRINCE HOTEL

In this serene time for tranquillity and reflection, Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur will be featuring a ‘Balik Kampung’ buffet dinner with over a hundred kampung-style dishes to choose from as well as specialties across Malaysia from 9 July until 8 August. From 9 – 15 July, experience a ‘Balik Kampung’ feel at the Prince Room with an early bird special rate priced at RM 78++ per person. From 16 July onwards, the buffet dinner will be served at Eccucino, priced at RM108++ per person. Children under 12 years of age receive complimentary dinner for every one paying adult.

Eccucino will showcase a variety of their specialities from around Malaysia where you can try their kerabu pucuk paku, bubur lambok, beef rending with lemang, rendang tok, nasi kandar, roti canai, udang gulai berlada, grilled seafood and more. The speciality includes the Signature Hot Pot Soup, Whole Roasted Lamb Kuzi, Sizzling Shawarma Grills and a Malaysian Laksa stall featuring five different flavors of laksa.

“We also have a large buffet bursting with chilled prawns and smoked salmon, kerabu and salads; freshly prepared Chinese, Indian and Western dishes; Malay kuih, ice creams, pastries, fresh fruits, kurma counter and more – something for everyone. While we will always have the traditional favorites, our goal is for our guests to experience new and different dishes each day,” Chef Pezar added.

Guest can also look forward to be entertained with a traditional “Ghazal” band from Seri Nusantara II. The band consists of an accordion, acoustic guitar and “Gendang” (Percussions) will perform 3 sessions of music that varies from Ghazal, Asli and Modern. The band will be playing from 7pm to 10pm everyday during the fasting month. Guest can expect a traditional affair at Eccucino.

The ‘Balik Kampung’ buffet dinner is available every night from 6:30pm to 10:30pm from 9 July to 8 August, 2013 and diners may select from the cold selection, soup, stall item, hot selection, dessert and beverages. Price structure:

• RM78++ per person from 9 – 15 July, at Prince Room (early birds specials!)
• RM108++ per person from 16 July – 8 August, at Eccucino
• Children under 12 years of age receive complimentary dinner for every one paying adult.
