THE ALL NEW LAUNDRY IS BACK IN ACTION!

Established in 2006, Laundry was born out of a passion for life and its many pleasures of good music, good company, food and drinks. As a venue that has been a firm supporter of the local music scene, a platform for many aspiring artist and being host to various international acts, Laundry has built a name for itself as an ideal place to chill, hangout and catch-up with family and friends over a couple of drinks or to simply enjoy a casual night out.

The ALL NEW Laundry at The Curve Mutiara Damansara has reopened with a brand new look following its recent major facelift. The changes are not just cosmetic, as Laundry is set to reinvent itself with a fresh new concept in entertainment and music variety.

For the next few months, Laundry will be bringing in an additional line-up of happening acts for its customers as this popular chill out venue is still going strong and remains a favourite hangout among many in the Klang Valley.

THE LOOK

The New Laundry has been custom made for the venue, from the upholstery to vintage wallpaper, the lighting fixtures to the table lamps. as well as an RGB wall by Italian designer, Carnovsky. http://www.carnovsky.com. Laundry brings to its guests a vintage inspired, cool, chic & classy look.

THE FEEL

Think The Great Gatsby meets Mad Men, Studio 54 on a chill pill. Laundry Bar will give its guests a whole new feel of being in a different era.  Also introducing its new cocktails like ‘IN BED WITH KC’ & ‘DEATH BY CHOCOLATE’ will leave its guests feeling good all day and all night.

THE SOUND

As a venue that has been a staunch supporter of the local music & arts scene and a platform for many an aspiring artist, Laundry Bar is keeping the music alive with an extensive line up of music genres from Soul to Funk, Hip Hop to House, Rock to Chill Out Music to fit every musical taste. Every so often Laundry will reward its patrons and guests with an international act or a music festival.

UPCOMING LINE-UP IN JUNE

Enjoy the month of June with top local bands like Mad Sally performing every Wednesday night. On Thursday nights, watch KL’s most talented musicians come together to perform their versions of original songs and covers from the classics to today’s best hits.

Start your weekends on RETRO NIGHT FRIDAY with DJ JASON as he takes you on a musical journey from the 70s through to the 80s, 90s and current party hits. On SATURDAY we have DJ Fuzz coupled with a special guest DJ every Saturday spinning everything from RnB to Hip Hop to Top 40 hits. End it all with an escape to paradise every Sunday afternoon with chill out music ala’ Café Del Mar with DJ GAIJIN and special International Guest DJS

WEDNESDAY

MAD SALLY

Made up of four young talented musicians who are daring and totally mysterious men formed a band called Mad Sally. The boys of Mad Sally are known for being the next best thing just when you thought the last thing was the best. They cover popular chart hits from the 50s to the present, performed with top musicianship and hi-energy showmanship which are combine together to create an unforgettable show for their audience. Mad Sally comprises of Max Thurst  who is the lead vocalist, Arash the bassist, Axis on guitar and Jer Mann on drums.

THURSDAY

6 JUNE  –  HARD CANDY, BLISTER & RHYTHM NATION

HARD CANDY

Comprising of five avid music lovers from all over central Malaysia, Hard Candy was formed to take you back in time to the songs you nodded your head to in the back seat of your seats.

BLISTER

BLISTER is a Hard Rock n Roll band made up of family members, Ramon “Solo” Singho on Lead Guitars, Mario “Mangz” Singho on Vocals/Rhythm Guitars, Julio “Jubz” Singho on Bass/Backing Vocals, Darian “Captain” Henry on Vocals/Rhythm Guitars and Zachary ‘Zack Attack’ De’Costa on Drums/Percussion.

Formed on Christmas 2000, they first began jamming on an impulse. Began playing professionally in 2005 after participating and being placed in the Top 10 in a nationwide battle of the bands competition called Blast Off. The music style of BLISTER is a fusion of punk rock, blues rock, heavy metal and hard rock.

RHYTHM  NATION

Collectively made up of Jude Ashvin, an aspiring singer from the city of Kuala Lumpur, Vishal, a rapper/percussionist from Kelana Jaya, Vishnu a.k.a  Syco V, a beat boxer/rapper/percussionist, Ethan ray, a crazy lead guitarist, Adrian, a bassist, Lucian, a soulful rhythm guitarist and Ajay, a passionate drummer found one another through their interest and goal to bring a new genre in music and to fulfill their passion in performing.
