KEDAI AYAMAS & RASAMAS “SPEND & WIN” CONTEST CELEBRATES WINNERS

May 30, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

Kedai Ayamas & RasaMas recently announced the winners of the much anticipated “Spend & Win” contest at a prize-giving ceremony held at Wisma KFC on 10 May 2013.
The lucky winners, picked from over 25,000 entries, were selected based on the correct answers. For Kedai Ayamas, Fatimah Az Zahra Othman was the lucky one who won a holiday package for two to Gold Coast, Australia; while Hon Hock Ngen won the first prize of the same holiday package for his entry via RasaMas.
Fatimah was overwhelmed and speechless as it was her first time winning first prize in a contest such as this. “When they called and told me that I’ve won a trip to Australia, I thought someone was trying to pull a prank on me”, she explained excitedly. Fatimah was on her way home from work and decided to stop at Kedai Ayamas in Bangi to buy some Ayamas roasters for dinner. “The staff handed me a contest form and I just filled it up. All I can say is my family was fortunate enough to have had a wonderful dinner and the free trip was really a windfall”, she added.
Hon Hock Ngen on the other hand, had entered the contest while dining in with his family at RasaMas restaurant at Aeon Tebrau City in Johor. “My children love RasaMas and we are regulars there. I’m happy, especially my wife. She’s very excited.” Hon said with a smile. This will be Hon’s first overseas trip and he is planning on bringing his wife and children. Looking forward to more contests from RasaMas and Kedai Ayamas, Hon said he will surely not miss an entry in the future.
Meanwhile, Mohd Rizal Abdul Manaf, the second prize winner received a holiday package for two to Bali, Indonesia, while the RasaMas winner was Hazmir Hamlis for the same package. The third prize – a great vacation to Langkawi, was won by Ganesh Vythilingam for Kedai Ayamas, while Muhamad Shaiful Rosley won for RasaMas. Eight fourth prize winners walked home with the new iPad, while 18 fifth prize winners received the cool Samsung Ace Plus smart phone. One hundred consolation prize winners received a meal voucher each worth RM100.
The contest which spanned across two months (starting from 13 November 2012 last year till 13 January 2013) was a joint effort between Kedai Ayamas and RasaMas restaurants. Customers who spent a minimum purchase of RM30.00 at any Kedai Ayamas store or RM38.00 at any RasaMas restaurant stood a chance to win by answering the question correctly, completing the slogan and details required in the contest form, and lastly dropping the completed contest form into the box provided at any Kedai Ayamas or RasaMas restaurants.
“I would like to congratulate all of the winners who took part in this competition, and would like to thank everyone that participated in this exciting ‘Spend & Win’ contest”, said Datuk Ahmad Zaki Zahid, Managing Director, QSR Brands (M) Holdings Sdn Bhd, the operator of Kedai Ayamas & RasaMas restaurants at the prize giving ceremony. He also added that the competition was one of the many ways Kedai Ayamas and RasaMas reward their loyal customers, besides appreciating the new ones.
“I am confident that with Kedai Ayamas’ new identity as a one stop centre which offers product diversity and services as well as RasaMas’ revitalized branding offering a scrumptious array of both local and western delicacies, both brands will continue to be the preferred choice of Malaysians”.
Also present at the ceremony were Hishamuddin Hamidon, General Manager of Kedai Ayamas, and Loganderan Erusia, Senior Operations Manager of RasaMas.
