King’s Raja Kumpul contest which was held from 1st October till 31st December 2012, culminated yesterday with a prize presentation ceremony to the winners of the contest. The Raja Kumpul contest is based on a ‘point collection’ system with different points entitlement for each product range. A minimum of 100 points is required per entry and winners are selected based on highest points collection.
A total of 29 winners walked away with cash prizes and electronic products worth RM50,000. Twenty consolation prize winners took home RM200 cash each, four 3rd prize winners was awarded a 16GB iPad each, three 2nd prize winners won a Samsung Galaxy SIII each and the 1st prize winner went home with a home theater set. The grand prize winner, Ong Chung Lian (age 26) from Kuching, Sarawak walked away with RM20,000 cash prize.
When interviewed, Ong said he would keep RM10,000 in the bank and he would share the remaining RM10,000 with his close friends. Ong who has been King’s loyal customer since his primary school days said this contest has indeed been a rewarding experience.
