GREEK MEDITERRANEAN BUFFET DINNER AT ECCUCINO, PRINCE HOTEL & RESIDENCE KUALA LUMPUR.

March 27, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Eccucino, an international all-day-dining restaurant at Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur is featuring the scrumptious Greek food festival this May. The “Greek Mediterranean Buffet Dinner” is available for 10 days from 9 to 19 May 2013, 6.30pm to 10.30pm. Featuring Chef George Diakomichalis for the second time round, the buffet is priced at RM98++ per person and children under 12 years old dine complimentary with every paying adult.

Chef George Diakomichalis, the guest chef for the promotion will be showcasing his authentic Greek cuisine through an extensive menu ranging from starters to main course and desserts. For a true taste of Greece, one must not missed to try out the Yiros (Spit-roasted Lamb in Pita Breads), Moussaka (Baked Eggplant and Meat Casserole) and Souvlaki (Grilled Skewers).

With Chef George’s strong background in desserts-making, the dessert corner is one of the main highlights of the buffet. Patrons will be able to savour some of his signature desserts such as Baklava (Sweet Almond and Honey Pastries), Cream Kataifi (Custard Cake with Shredded Filo Pastry) and Loukomades (Honey-drizzled Fried Pastries).

An Executive Pastry Chef, Chef George is the fourth generation of chefs in his family from Adelaide, South Australia. His patisserie, Kalymnos Patisserie has won numerous awards such as the Winner of the Gold Award for Excellence, Business of the Year Award and Messenger Winner of Casual Dining Business of the Year Award amongst others. In conjunction with Mother’s Day, Chef George will be accompanied by his mother, Chef Poppy to showcase the true Greek recipes passed on from one generation to the next.

“I’m very excited to be back again at Eccucino to share Greek cuisine with everyone here in Malaysia,” mentioned Chef George. “We will be adding more new creations on the Greek Mediterranean Buffet Dinner this year. We look forward to seeing you!”.

Eccucino is located on the ground floor or entrance of Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur. For reservations, please contact our Restaurant Manager at 03-2170 8888. For additional information on Eccucino, please visit www.princehotelkl.com.
