A TOAST TO A PROSPEROUS LUNAR NEW YEAR AT PARKROYAL KL (2013)

January 8, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News 1 Comment

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with family and friends at Si Chuan Dou Hua with a line-up of specially prepared set menus and Prosperity Yee Sang creations for lunch and dinner. A lavish Chinese New Year Day Hi-Tea also awaits you at Chatz Brasserie.

Once again, it is time to welcome the Lunar New Year with this being the Year of the Snake and say goodbye to the Year of the Water Dragon. According to the Chinese zodiac, people born in the Year of the Snake are kind, vibrant, introspective and refined.

From 18 January until 24 February, indulge in sumptuously prepared dishes by Chinese Chef Chew Chee Kuong, Sichuan Chef Wang Yunghai and their team. Each set menu is delicately crafted with significant symbolic dishes. Vibrant and colourful Yee Sang loaded with prosperity and good luck are also available for family gatherings and appreciation lunches or dinners.

Usher in the New Year by tossing with our specialty Prosperity Yee Sang creations. Be sure to try out our signature Tropical Fruit Yee Sang which consists of sliced kiwi, dragon fruit, mango, strawberry, apple and pomelo just to name a few. This refreshing dish will definitely give you a new experience from other Yee Sang dishes. You could also choose from our selection of seafood favourites such as Abalone, Superior Shark’s Fin, Salmon, Yellow Fin Tuna, Soft Shell Crab, Scallop Skirt, Jellyfish or Pacific Clams. These passionately prepared Yee Sang are served with your choice of specially invented sauces like Sour Plum Sauce enhanced with Fruit Flavour, Spicy Plum Sauce with Mango or the traditional Sour Plum Sauce. Priced from RM55 nett (half portion) and RM90 nett (full portion) onwards, the Yee Sang dishes are available for dine-in or take-away.

There are six specially prepared set menus for you to savour during this time. The ‘Chinese New Year’ set is priced at RM798 nett for 4 people and RM1030 nett for 6 people. If you are in a group of 10 people, you may opt for the ‘Prosperity’, ‘Fortune’ or ‘Wealth’ set priced at RM1158 nett, RM1390 nett and RM1622 nett respectively. We also offer an option of a ‘Vegetarian’ set priced at RM1042 nett per table of 10 people.

Yee Sang and the six set menus are available at Si Chuan Dou Hua daily for lunch from 12 noon until 2.30pm and dinner from 6.30pm until 10.30pm.

Treat your family and friends over a gastronomical journey of hi-tea during Chinese New Year on 10 and 11 February at Chatz Brasserie. Priced at RM69 nett per person, the hi-tea is available from 12.30pm until 4pm. PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur and PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur in-house guests enjoy 20% off while senior citizens above 55 years old enjoy 50% off.
