SEASONAL GOODIES ABOUND FROM TAI THONG

December 27, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

It’s the time of year when festive and joyful occasions abound, and the Tai Thong Group of Restaurants wishes to double such joy with our many Seasonal Offerings.

Now, no New Year gathering or reunion would ever be complete, without the ubiquitous Poon Choy Pot, which signifies friendship, warmth and togetherness. Poon Choy lovers will hence be thrilled to know that Tai Thong is offering its Fortune and Pork-Free Auspicious Poon Choy Pots at special prices of RM238++ for 5 diners, and RM468++ for 10 diners. Tai Thong Card Members also have the option of adding on a 10-head abalone with their Poon Choy orders, at RM12.80 per abalone. As a deal-sweetener, Early Bird Poon Choy Vouchers are also available; delightfully priced at RM198 and RM388 for 5 and 10 persons, respectively. These Early Bird Poon Choy Vouchers are intended to be used to redeem our Poon Choy Pots.

There’s no need to wait for Chinese New Year either, to enjoy our Set Menus. In fact, our Chinese New Year Set Menus priced from RM488, are equally perfect for year-end annual or reunion meals. Diners looking for a more substantial feast may opt for Tai Thong’s Fortune Supreme Set.

Priced at RM1,388 for 5 persons and RM2,688 for 10 persons, the Fortune Supreme Set promises to be a gastronomic experience in itself, with signature dishes including Prosperity Yee Sang, Poon Choy Pot and Traditional-Style Braised Whole Abalone. As a deal-sweetener, the 5-pax Fortune Supreme Set Menu comes with a complimentary bottle of red wine, while its 10-pax counterpart is accompanied by a complimentary bottle of select brandy.

Hunting for seasonal delights? You may wish to treat yourself and loved ones to Tai Thong’s perennial bestsellers and must-haves; namely our Prosperity Yee Sang and BBQ Meat. Our Prosperity Yee Sang is available in half and complete portions, and priced from RM62.80 and RM82.80 respectively. Tai Thong’s BBQ Meat, meanwhile, retails at RM46.80 per 500 g box.

Tai Thong’s Poon Choy Pots, Prosperity Yee Sang, BBQ Meat and Chinese New Year Set Menus shall be available from 15th December 2012 to 28th February 2013.

Likewise, the Chinese New Year Prosperity Voucher retailing at RM1,288 is available now until 31st December 2012. It may be redeemed at any Tai Thong restaurant from 1st January to 28th February 2013, for set menus or ala carte orders. Once again, Tai Thong Card Members benefit from a 10% discount on every Prosperity Voucher they purchase.
