DRAGON-I , QUEENSBAY MALL

December 5, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Dragon-i is the premier Shanghainese restaurant chain in Malaysia that serves some of the best and most authentic Shanghainese cuisine outside of China. The restaurant is indeed one of the nice place to dine for a great ambience and service. Each delicacy is prepared by highly-skilled chefs from mainland China using top quality ingredients to ensure authenticity in both presentation and taste. There’s a great spread of spicy and non spicy dishes available here for just anyone

Baby pork ribs glazed with zhenjiang black vinegar is a lovely meal which is served with the tender juicy meat with it. The delights is indeed lovely with the great seasoning with it as well.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 25.00

Stir Fried sliced fish with Long bean and potato is where the dishes is very special and the sliced fish is being seasoned and then it is well stir ried with the crispy long beans and the sliced potato with it. The fish is very yummy and tasty.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 20.00

Szechuan dan dan la mian in hot & sour soup where the la mian is one of the specialities of Dragon-I. The portion of the la mian was indeed a large one for a person and the hand pulled noodles are nicely pulled with the springy texture. It is being added with the chili oil which creates the aromatic spiciness. I am just loving the hot and spicy dish which is amazingly lovely.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 13.00

Sauteed Shrimps with Salted Egg Yolk is a lovely one and my sis favourite  The dish is indeed very good where the portion of the prawns is crispy as well with the salted egg yolk, the dish makes the overall delights even perfect. The shrimps are fresh and also creamy with the light egg yolk taste with it.
Taste:4/5
Price: RM 35.00

A visit to Dragon-i would not be complete if you did not try out their signature Shanghainese Steamed Meat Dumplings. The Steamed Meat Dumplings is perfectly done and the dumplings is in rich flavours. The dishes are juicy and I just love it together with the ginger in black vinegar.
