THE CHUB’S GRILL, KOTA KINABALU

November 27, 2012 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 1 Comment

The CHUB’s Grill is one of the places of Food we visited during our trip to Kota Kinabalu besides having our favourites seafood. Chub’s Grill is bringing a modern and swanky style of restaurant which serves delicious western delights in a huge platter. The restaurant is opened back on February 2011 and they serves beef, pork, chicken, lamb and now they even have more. The delights are being well served with a great service as well.

We had the Flamed Grilled Pork Ribs where the freshest local pork ribs are being marinated with their special smoky sauce. It is then being roasted to seal the exquisite flavour and then being grilled over bed of charcoal to a delightful finish. I could say the overall delights brings me a sinful delights with the tender juicy meat which is just lovely.
Taste : 4/5
Price: RM 18.00 (platter) / Rm 11 ( just meat)

Flame Grilled Quarter Chicken is indeed a heavenly marinade from the peanut sauce and it is finely blended local herbs and spices. The juicy tender chicken is being grilled over a flaming bed of charcoal to crisp the outside and leaving the meat tender and juicy in the inside.
Taste : 4/5
Price: RM 18.00 ( Platter) / RM 11 ( just meat)

Flamed Grilled Pork Belly is one of the best seller and a sensational delights where it is served with the blends of soy, sesame oil and the chef’s secret ingredients to marinate the freshest local pork , grilled over the flaming fire to a wonderful finish.
Taste : 4/5
Price: RM 25.00 (Platter)/ RM 19.00 ( Meat Only)
