COCONUT ICE CREAM, WAT CHAYAMANGKALARAM PENANG

August 1, 2012 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 4 Comments

Are you a fans of ice creams? I had been loving the coconut ice cream which is the stall located at Wat Chayamangkalaram temple. The temple it self is beautiful and we had our delighting coconut ice cream to savor out thirst during our visit to the temple. The coconut ice cream here is a homemade ice cream by the Siamese and the ingridients is all about coconut.
For the coconut ice cream, you may opt to add some toppings which is peanuts, attap chee as well as the sweet corns on top. This is one of my favorite ice cream and a must to have whenever I am back to Penang. It is indeed very nice and delicious one I had found so far for Coconut Ice cream and I can say one cup will never be enough for me.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 2.50

Location:
Inside the Wat Chayamangkalaram (Sleeping Buddha) Temple,
Lorong Burmah,
10350 Penang

never tried this ice cream before despite i have visited this temple a couple of times, but i have tried something similar in those Thai Food Fair at some shopping malls before, not too bad but slightly too sweet for me

They are not always open. Mostly they are open on weekends and public holiday and sometimes school holidays.
