AK NOODLE HOUSE, 1 UTAMA

April 9, 2012 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 3 Comments

AK Noodles is one my visit when I am in 1 Utama. This shopping complex is one of my favorite place of visit where they have what I want. They had revamp the old wing of the mall and now the “OLD” wing looks like “NEW”- hmm.. can I say the “NEW” Old Wing. AK Noodles is well located at the Lower Ground of the mall and the shop is serving Yong Tau Fu and noodles.

We had tried some of their dishes there and we ordered the curry laksa noodles. The laksa noodles was nicely made and with the soft and smooth texture of the noodles. The base soup is well made with lots of santan taste and not too spicy. The overall of the noodles is delicious.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 8.90

We had the QQ Fish Ball Noodle Soup which is nothing to shout out as it is just a simply plain noodle soup with some fishballs with it.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 7.90

We had also ordered the Tomyam Seafood Mee Hoon which comes with squids, and prawns with it. The tomyam is not really spicy and it is not blended on its own but is from the bottle itself.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 9.90

We ended up with a snack which is the crispy prawn cake. The crispy prawn cake is deep fried and served with a plate of chilly sauce. The prawn pancake is nothing to shout out as it is alike fishcake to me.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 5.90

hi,I wanna make a big complain at your lousy restaurant @ 1 Utama. the service Totally sucks.. never repeat orders.I have order bla bla she said ok ok..waitress name Dayang Nurfaizah. if two pax sure order two drinks right. and the order came I ordered Spinash dried noodle but it was not Green Color. and it was very little you can charge RM8.50. and when the waiter put down very rude. you put it nicely right. and he put down the bowls his finger Touch the Fish balls. and your fish ball is not home made fish balls. and I ask the waiter for Sambal..he didn’t take for me. Service Lousy and still wanna charge for Service Charge when you don’t have Service. always wanna call.and ask your chef they know how make noodles or not.I’m not eat for free ok. I thought the service is change since I already make the first complain.but…still the same. so you better teach your employee how to customers service ok..and your chef as well. ok thank you..make sure you take a big action against them.if not what for you pay them salary when they’re not doing their work properly ok.tq.
