KITES RESTAURANT, HOLIDAY INN HOTEL

February 15, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Kites Restaurant is a newly refurbished comfortable restaurant with a relaxing terrace that overlooks a landscaped garden and swimming pool. It offers a wide variety of local and continental fare as well as a wide selection of snacks. The environment is a relaxing environment which is a best thing to do when you would like to have a break of a weekend. I just love the beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, cool environment enhanced by wooden tables and chairs widely spread across the dining area. The restaurant is serving a variety of International Cuisine like Chinese, Thai, Western and more. This round, we are coming here for a light high-tea meals.

– The curry corner-

The restaurant is having four sections of food where you may enjoy the international cuisine here. We start off with the Chinese and Malay Cuisine, where we can see there is yong tau fu there, the fragrant curry as well as the Thai Appetizers as well. They do serve deep fried fish, fried rice and more.

– The Thai Delights-

The next corner will be more on the fried items and western where you may find lagsania and more to have here. There is a variety like sausage, and some fried items which is kids favorite as well.

– Meat and the Fish Corner-

And they also serves another corner of sweet bites where you may find some local desserts like ais kachang, and those soury food which you may find in Penang. There is also a desserts corner where you may find variety of cakes as well as sweet bites of desserts like pudding and more. Overall, I felt the food is delicious especially some of the fried items, curry and desserts.
