DUCK KING, JAYA ONE

January 5, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Have you heard of Duck King? I had come over to this restaurant which is located in Jaya One and the restaurant is usually packed during lunch hours and as so, we visited the restaurant in the evening this round and they have ample of place for us to sit down and had our dinner there. The setup of the restaurant was plain but elegant, furnished in brown polished wooden furniture

This round we went for a try for the Duck & chicken Noodles. The noodle is nice and the taste is quite good as well. As for the chicken, they served with braised chicken and is slightly salty.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 12.50

We also ordered siew yok duck rice which is the combination of roasted pork with the braised chicken. The roasted pork is kinda below par perhaps is late the quality of the pork are left too long.
Taste: 2/5
Price: RM 12.50

Next is the char siew duck rice which is nothing to shout out. The portion is kinda small and the char siew is just normal.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 12.50

We also ordered the cumi pacific which is the squids which is being bbq with salt. It is served together with the spicy sambal and I simply fall in love with it and the taste is extremely nice and delicious.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 24.00
