JADE BLOSSOM RESTAURANT(粵翠軒), 1ST AVENUE

December 6, 2011 by StrawberrY Gal

After their opening in Krystal Point, they have their second outlet in 1st Avenue, Penang. Well located next to Master Choo restaurant, the restaurant is nicely decorated where it has given me a high class feels of it. As we step in the restaurant, we were greeted with a smile and menu is being served.

We started our meal is Sweet & Sour Fish with Pine & Nut. The fish is well made and they are using Garupa. The meal is well made with perfectionist and the sweet and sour fish is simply my favorite with the fresh meat.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 28.00

Crispy Breadcumbs & Garlic Flavored Chicken is one of the famous delights as well. The chicken is being deep fried till golden brown and they have added with the garlic flavor on it. The taste is simply nice and delighting.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 28.00

This is my favorite which is the Prawn meat with Fried Egg Threads and Oats. The prawn had been removed with skin and it is being fried with the egg and oats. The taste is so delicious with the fragrant oat taste on it.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 30.00

Stir Fried Assorted Vegetables has nothing to shout out about it. Simple meal with the vegetables to accompany with for the delight of the day
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 12.00

We also ordered the pork spareribs with Tangy BBQ sauce. The spare ribs meat is well made with the BBQ sauce but I don’t really like this as it is hard to chew. The rib are well made just not much meat and is stick to the bones. So, I do not love it that much due to it is hard to chew.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 18.00

Green Tea Ice cream with Tofu Pudding is real nice. The ice cream and the tofu pudding makes a nice match where the green tea ice cream is full of the fragrant green tea taste and also they served with the red bean as decoration on it and the soft tofu pudding.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 8.00

Chinese Herbal Pudding with Mango sago is also one of the nice desserts there. The Herbal Pudding which is a bit bitter is covered up with the sweet Mango paste instead of sugar. The sago is sweet and the texture is smooth and well made. This is one of the nice combination not to be missed here.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 8.00
