CHOMEY, THE CURVE

August 4, 2011 by StrawberrY Gal

Chomey is a new restaurant which is recently open at The Curve. The restaurant is located on Level 1 which is the same row as Vivo and a couple of blocks away. It is a Kelantanese cuisine and we decided to make it a try there.

Nasi berlauk is where the steamed white rice comes with the special gulai ikan which is from a recipes handed down with love and blessing from Nenda. The fish is kinda fresh and the gulai is made from thick santan.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 8.80

Nasi goreng chomey is one of the special recommended delights there. Non-spicy would love this as it is special aromatic fried rice prepared with a selection of chopped ulam served with Ayam Goreng Kunyit and Keropok. The rice is slightly dry but the overall taste is still acceptable.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 10.80

As for the Ayam goreng berempah, it is slightly disappointed as the price is kinda expensive for a chicken wings. Taste is not bad. I had added the nasi Putih with additional RM 2.00
Taste: 2/5
Price: RM 5.00
